DC Monument Tour

Our professional instructors and guides will teach you all about flatwater kayaks, how to paddle with correct technique. From our kayaks you will experience truly unique views of the Washington Monument, Lincoln Memorial, the Tidal Basin and many other significant historical points of interest. No crowds out here! We will interpret the history behind those beautiful monuments and bridges as we paddle. You’ll also learn the rich history of the Georgetown area, as we circumnavigate Washington Island (tide dependent). Catch a glimpse of heron, kingfisher, see and learn about the many other aspects of our river ecosystem. All equipment is included! See below for details.
