Safety
River rescue exercises are inherently risky. To be effective, this event will provide participants with realistic, hands-on scenarios. This means this event involves challenging conditions that simulate actual whitewater rescue situations. While we take every reasonable precaution to manage risk, understand there is always the possibility of injury. Our goal is to strike a responsible balance between presenting meaningful challenges and maintaining participant safety throughout the event.
This is a skills competition, designed to test you and your team’s knowledge and ability to recognize hazards, assess dynamic situations, and safely perform technical skills.
